Charcuterie Trays

What is a charcuterie tray you ask?

Good question! Charcuterie is pronounced "shahr-ku-tuh-ree" and its really just a fancy French term for a meat and cheese tray. What ever you want to call it, they are really all about an artful way to share your favorite cured meats, cheeses, artisan breads or crackers, olives, dried fruit, and nuts.

Each piece is carefully designed, crafted, and finished to bring out the beautiful nature of the hardwoods being used. All my trays are finished with a food safe mix of mineral oil and bees wax. While they could be used as cutting boards, and I know I'm partial here, they might just be too beautiful.

Interested in a particular design, size, or wood species? Let me know and lets work together to make something beautiful.

Sometimes as an artist you make leaps...this piece feels like that for me. It integrates the stripes and oak inlays into a design filled with movement. Made from Oak, Hickory, Walnut, Maple, Cherry and Oak inlays, this board measures 14 x 26 x 1.25.

Perhaps this is a tray only its maker could love. Perfect? No... Rustic? Maybe... Made from scrap wood, this tray is where all others started from. Made from Oak, Cherry, Maple (and others) this is truly a one of kind board. Measures 11.75 x 25 x 1.25. Because this board is much rougher or "rustic" and exhibits a lot of wood flaws from the scap wood used, the price is significantly less than the others.
